SUNRISES AND SUNSETS

We were amazed by the stunning colors of the sky in Puglia! The best place to watch the sunrise is the charming port of Monopoli, where you can see the sun emerge from the sea. And for a breathtaking sunset, head to Gallipoli and enjoy a refreshing Aperol Spritz as the sun dips behind the horizon.

BEACHES

Puglia has some of the most beautiful beaches in Italy. Puglia is home to an undulating coastline of over 800 kilometres. Along the Adriatic and Ionian coastlines, you’ll find a myriad of white sandy beaches, hidden coves and natural swimming pools.

Torre Guaceto is a nature lover’s paradise combining unspoilt woods, Mediterranean maquis, several miles of sandy beach, and a protected marine reserve. While there you may well come across a flock of flamingos, just one of the dozens of species of migratory birds who stop off here.

ALBEROBELLO

Alberobello is known as Puglia's trulli town. It is a town of just over 10,000 people. As one of the ‘must do’ items on everyone’s itinerary, the town has inevitably become a little overcrowded with tour groups, but it can still be enjoyed if you visit early and with your expectations managed.
